People Keep Tricking Blind 71-Year-Old Vendor with Fake Money, Taking Her Bread

A blind 71-year-old woman sells bread for a living, but there are people who keep tricking her with fake money and taking her bread because she can’t see what they are doing.

Every morning, this jolly old lady wakes up early to buy bread from a bakery. She sells the bread for 50 Baht ($1.64) but only earns 5 Baht ($0.16) per piece. Still, she enjoys selling the bread, meeting people, and earning some money to survive.

She’s not earning much but for Aunt Nid, she’s happy that she could still help her family and feel important despite her age and the fact that she is blind.

But the fact that she is old and blind made her an easy target for those who wish to take advantage of people earning an honest buck. There were people who would use fake money to pay Aunt Nid. Others would just take her bread without paying – and she can’t even identify the culprits because she can’t see.

Netizens expressed admiration, however, after learning that Aunt Nid remains a jolly seller who has a constant smile on her face. She can’t see her customers but she makes sure to have a ready smile for them – what matters is that they can see her happy face!

For Aunt Nid, being able to work and earn money to survive is a great thing – and she enjoys meeting new people each day. She loves her job despite the small money she earns from selling, especially on days when the bad guys take her goods without paying.

Each day, Aunt Nid wakes up early to sell her goods. Thankfully, her honest and loyal customers often drop by her shop to buy some of her bread so that by 4PM, she is ready to go home.

Despite the fact that there are inconsiderate people who take her goods and dupe her with fake money, Aunt Nid is thankful that there are still plenty of good people out there who are willing to help her out each day.
