Many kids love to hug their favorite toy while sleeping – it is often a soft toy like a teddy bear or any fluffy stuff. Some kids even hug their legos and trucks! But those kids are lucky to have soft beds on their backs as they hug their soft toys.
Recently, photos of a homeless boy went viral after he was seen hugging his pet dog while they slept so peacefully together. The dog also appears to cuddle closer to the boy. And while that’s already tear-jerking on its own, what made the photos even more touching is that these two were actually sleeping at the sidewalk!

According to netizens, the photos were taken at Edsa Shaw Blvd Starmall. Jem Villomo shared the heartbreaking photos, saying that she took pity on the kid. Indeed, the photos are so pitiful as the kid and his dog slept on that pavement, yet they appear to be so at peace and had so much love for each other.

Many netizens were angry at this kid’s parents for leaving him in the streets, but many said it is possible his parents are also living in the streets or might no longer be alive.

No one knows who this kid is or where he is from and whether he still has some family left to actually care for him if they give him fare back home. Many are not even sure he has a home. What’s obvious, though, is that this boy loves his dog so much – and it might be the only family he has!

Others are hoping the kid would get that much-needed help soon. Many are saying the kid should be brought to the DSWD but others are also willing to help if they just can locate him. There’s even one netizen who is offering to let him live at their house and send him to school….
