Xavier Technical Training Center Corporation Novaliches Branch announces on Facebook an exciting opportunity for individuals who are currently not in education, employment, or training (NEET). Offering a free training program and assessment for Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), which is an in-demand skill in various industries.
The program has a duration of 375 hours and will be conducted through a blended mode of training, which means that learners will have the flexibility to study online and on-site. Limited slots are available so that it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The scholarship benefits are extensive and include free training and assessment, a daily allowance, an NNA allowance, and insurance coverage. To ensure that learners are well-supported and can focus on their studies without any financial worries.
To apply for the scholarship, interested applicants must provide photocopies of their high school report cards, high school diploma, or transcript of records if they are college-level or graduate. They also need to obtain a barangay clearance, police clearance, or NBI clearance, and a medical certificate from a public health officer. Additionally, they must submit a photocopy of their PSA birth certificate, six passport-sized photos with complete name tags, and six 1x1 ID pictures with a chemically printed white background and shirt with collar or suit. Lastly, they must enclose all the documents in a long brown envelope.
